Noesis Recognized as a Best Workplace in Wellbeing 2024!


Great Place to Work visited the Lisbon offices to award the prestigious Best Workplace in Wellbeing 2024 prize

Noesis has been recognized as a Best Workplace in Wellbeing 2024, reinforcing its commitment to the well-being and appreciation of its employees. This prestigious award reflects the company’s dedication to creating a healthy, inclusive, and motivating work environment, with initiatives covering physical and mental health, continuous development, social responsibility, and sustainability. By placing "People" at the center of its strategy, Noesis continues to be a benchmark for excellence in promoting organizational well-being.

At Noesis, employee well-being is a priority. As part of its strategic pillars, the company has implemented several initiatives to promote physical and mental health, as well as to strengthen social responsibility.

Leadership and Transparency – Noesis invests in leadership skills training, promoting a culture of trust. With initiatives like the "Come ON Board" sessions, transparency between management and employees is reinforced.

Physical and Mental Well-being – The company provides health insurance to all employees and their families, covering psychology and nutrition consultations. Online Medicine also facilitates remote consultations, avoiding unnecessary travel. To encourage healthy habits, team-building activities such as karting, surfing, and beach cleanups are organized, alongside solidarity sports programs in partnership with UPNDO.

The company joined GRACE and signed the BCSD Portugal Charter of Principles, reinforcing its role in promoting a more sustainable future. Diversity and inclusion are also celebrated through events like the European Diversity Month and Pride Month.

Recognition and Appreciation – Noesis celebrates career milestones and conducts regular performance reviews, recognizing employees' dedication. Additionally, it fosters continuous development through the Noesis Academy and the Udemy platform, offering a wide range of training opportunities to develop employee skills.

Support for Parenthood – Noesis supports employees who become parents with the "Baby Kit," a set of products for newborns, demonstrating its commitment to providing emotional and practical support.

Organizational Culture – The company continues to innovate in office design, creating collaborative spaces and social areas that foster team interaction, resulting in greater well-being and productivity. To keep employees informed and engaged, Noesis has enhanced internal communication with a monthly newsletter and initiatives like "HC on the Road."

In collaboration with the Commission for Equality in Labour and Employment (CITE), the company organized forums to discuss workplace harassment and launched an internal survey on moral and sexual harassment. Additionally, Noesis has supported gender diversity in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields by participating in programs such as Girls in Tech and Technovation Girls, which encourage young women to explore careers in technology.

Culture and Internal Initiatives – Noesis fosters a vibrant and inclusive organizational culture where employees have the opportunity to express their interests beyond work. An example is the company’s band, Noises, which participates in events like the Brands Like Bands festival and Rock in Rio, celebrating musical talent and team spirit among employees.

Solidarity Campaigns and Well-being Initiatives – In 2023, Noesis partnered with UPNDO, a company that promotes healthy habits within organizations. Since then, Noesis has participated in various campaigns encouraging employees to engage in physical activity for a charitable cause.

After a campaign focused on mental health, which took place between July and September and supported two NGOs – AlertaMente: Associação Nacional para a Saúde Mental and Associação Mais Proximidade – with over 11,000 kilometers covered, Noesis has launched its fourth campaign of the year: Health & Well Being.

Now, employees are encouraged to run or walk, adding up kilometers that will be converted into donations for the Liga Portuguesa Contra o Cancro the Sociedade Portuguesa de Medicina do Estilo de Vida.
